Plan on grocery shopping after you work out - Feeling healthy while you shop will help you make wiser food choices!
Go veggie once a week, research shows that eating meatless chili for example opposed to that usual turkey club will cut calories and boosts your cardiovascular health.
Cravings usually last about 10 to 15 minutes so have a “to-do” list handy to occupy this time and remember to drink a big, cold glass of water.
Remember getting healthy is a way of life, take it one day at a time and you will be a success.
Over the next several weeks, I will be blogging on several different sites, talking about stress, exercise and eating well.
I will be blogging on three different blogs over the course of the next week.

A great way to save money and some calories is to eat a healthy meal at home rather than at a restaurant. Even restaurant’s healthier options can still be high in fats and calories.
Whether you are parking to go shopping at the mall or the grocery store pick a spot further away so you can get some extra walking distance in.
Never use restaurant salad dressing. Instead bring your own; salad spritzers are very convenient, portable and yummy. Use Wish Bone or Paul Newman. If you don’t have your own spritzer ask the waiter to bring you olive oil and vinegar as an alternative.
Just a teaspoon of mayonnaise contains close to 100 calories and 11 grams of fat! Mustard is a much healthier option and adds much more flavor too!
